I am so excited to be a first grade teacher at Meadowlark Elementary. This is my fifth year of teaching and my third year at Meadowlark.  I have always wanted to be a teacher in Andover, especially because I was a 2001 graduate of Andover High School.  In 2005, I graduated from K-State and received a bachelor of science degree in Elementary Education.  I am currently working on receiving a masters degree from Emporia State University and I will finish next May.  Some of my favorite activities are running, wakeboarding, shopping, cooking, and most importantly, spending time with my family and friends.  My family has a cabin at Kahola Lake, which is where I spend most of my time in the summers.  I just got engaged over the summer and will be getting married next June.
